Thinking of toilet paper.. I remember when visiting Bulgaria some time in the 80's. Outside the toilets, there was an old lady selling toilet paper. I asked for the price and gave her the money for it. What I received was a 5"by 5" piece of single layer paper. I asked her how I could manage the job with such a little piece? She didn't speak english.. so she picked up a piece, put her finger trough the center and instructed me in circular motions how to do the job bulgarian-style.. Needless to say, I ended up with an entire roll of paper and gave her the remaining half on my way out.
