Value of a G date with 22 conversion
I have aquired in a trade a G date Luger, all matching in very good condition, it is supposed to be a bring back. The pistol has what I believe is a wartime 22 conversion kit installed, the kit is waffenampted. Unfortunately, the original 9mm toggle/bolt and magazine are missing. I am interested in selling or trading this pistol for a shooter Luger. Can anyone give me a guesstimate on the value of this pistol with the conversion?

Steve, I would guess, $500-$600 for the "shooter parts" and another $150 for the 22 part.
finding the correct toggle / sn is almost impossible. Can you provide pictures? I'm curious as to the manufacturer of the 22 conversion part? Ed PS: WELCOME to the forum!

Thanks Ed. I'll try to get some photos posted. I am taking the pistol to Louisville this weekend to the NGD show. Do you know of any collectors who might attend who would be interested?
