While reading Jan Still's "Third Reich Lugers" I was surprised to see all the different manufacturers (over seventy) who supplied holsters to the German armed forces during WWII. I'm merely a Luger enthusiast, but I'm wondering if the collectors who frequent this site have any particular favorites among this long list of holster makers?

eqr 42 holster with WaA 750 markings. It was made in G Passier Sohne, Sattlerwarenfabrik, strasse de S.A. Hannover 1W Niedersachen.
It has one repair on the flap that appears to have been done professionally perhaps at the factory to repair a very neat cut perhaps made by error during it manufacture. Does anyone know when the last wartime Luger holsters were made? Mike |

A few 1944 dated holsters have been documented as original. To my knowledge, no 1945 dated holsters have been documented to be original.
