Hi Tom,
S.C.I.R. is the earlier mark for "Schutzpolizei Cassel Ist District Revier". Later revised to S.Ka.I. I don't presently recall the translation for Revier. However, C and K were both used at different times for Kassel. And also for "Company" in Imperial Army markings. I'm treading in Don Maus' territory, so I'll shut up now... Ron
