Hope not either.... but they looked really 'plastic-like'; like they came from a cheap toypistol. I think (hope) I would recognise bakelite when I see it.... being raised in a time when there were lots of bakelite items around.

Thanx. Yep, I did notice the barrel is original; that's why I took pics of its witnessmarks.
The brown plastic grips did not have a logo on them.
