Alex,

See the following I posted last month. I am having *great* results....
Have had the perenial problem with mold. Tried freezing, witchcraft and various ju-ju.

Then last week while surfing through a site on pickelhaben, saw the site owners recommendations on mold.

A no-brainer: Wipe down with Lysol.

Seemed a bit like using JDAMS on mice, so I decised to give it a *highly* scientific test. To wit: took a norskie MP-40 mag pouch that was ate up with mold and gave it a brushing. Then put it into a plastic bucket with 4 T of Lysol concentrate and filled that sucka up. Let it soak for half hour, then drained the gunk-and a lot of it there was-and then filled with clean water. Let soak 30 minutes, then repeated.

It is hanging now just off the Fuerher Bunker, about 10 feet from the water heater, so an ambient 80 degrees will be maintained. Will check it the next couple of days and see waht the result is. Follow up with some connolley's and see wha'cha.

I am cautiously optimistic; I believe we are "babying" our leather a bit too much. We shall see.
