Deutsche Lederwerkst¤tten GmbH, Margarethenstr. 3,
>> Pirmasens, > Rheinland-Pfalz >>(jln) : (1941) I have seen authentic holsters that are similar, but others which had heavier leather. The holster appears newish; does not have a strong leather smell. Any insights welcomed. Thanks! |

Tom,
Thanks for your reply - you and Jerry concur so I feel confident. Weird things happen, I guess, as this guy comes up to me at a gun show this weekend and says he wants to sell a holster, a perfect FXO mag and black widow grips. The FXO and grips are perfect - the holster seemed legit but I have seen some variations that make me wonder... I got all of it for a good price. Some time when you get a chance I would like to know the details of your observations. I personally thought the stitching and thread used was correct; but the leather seemed thinner than -most- I've seen but I recently saw a 41 Krieghoff rig (as did you!) whose holster was similar - so I went for it. Thanks ! |
