I would like to take on as a project the creation of an exact duplicate of an artillery model shoulder stock since I have owned an artillery model pistol for about 30 years.
Since I don't own a stock already, I need to know the critical dimensions, angles and thicknesses at various points. Wood (pun intended)anyone happen to have a print showing the construction of such a stock? Or, perhaps a written description of a genuine stock with enough detail to make this as accurate as possible? Lacking that, wood (same pun) those of you who own a genuine stock and who wood (shameless re-use of the same pun) consider assisting me to create this stock by working with me on dimensions, angles and thicknesses please contact me either here or by direct email. Thanks, John |

John, You'll find a reprint of the original dimentional (with metric dimentions) drawing for the LPO8 "Schulterstuck" in Gene Bender's "Luger Holsters & Accessories" on page 225. I do have the Odin/Sarco wood less lug available for both the Artillery & Naval stock @$70 each or one of each @$125. Tom

thanks Tom, It is nice to know their are multiple sources. How is the quality of the stock irons that you have? Are they truely functional or merely cosmetic?
