Default Luger Holsters & Accessories of the 20th Century

I have seen several "Luger for sale" ads reference "LUGER HOLSTERS & ACCESSORIES OF THE 20TH CENTURY; by Eugene J. Bender" and I was wondering if this was a reference book worth having in one's library. I understand that it is out of print and a bit pricey but collecting Lugers isn't cheap either. So is this book worth the $100+ it seems to be commanding or is it a few pretty pictures and not quite the complete picture one would expect?

The cheapest I have ever seen this book is $89.00 plus shipping... This is a quality reference for your library... buy it.

Hundreds of detailed B&W photos of many, many luger holsters and accessories.

This book is worth every penny at full price...better if you can snag one at under $ 100 !

It is a good ref; and its been a while since I looked at it, but, hmmmmm, I think it is a good book, but it deals with more WW2, fewer WW1 and even fewer weimar era holsters. It is chock full of pictures, but I found it lacking in detailed information. Probably because there are so few books out there on holster and fewer real information on who made what and when. No one really knows how many of what holsters were made or why at times...

Ken, I have used this book more than any other I can think of...It covers many countries holsters and especially German accoutrements. You cannot consider yourself well armed in the book dept. without this one. It is also a very interesting book to look thru and read. You will enjoy it very much! You cannot lose any money on it, buy it, read it and sell it...You get all your money back only you will not sell it as long as you find Lugers interesting. It is a great reference book.

Well it sounds like this book is highly regarded by everyone so I just ordered it. I am sure I won't regret it. Thanks.
