You have made me curious. The 5-digit serial number is characteristic of DWM commercial serial numbers, in fact the 209xx range is very specifically in the 1900 Bulgarian range. The frame as you describe has markings characteristic of Erfurt manufactured Lugers 1911-1918. Is the five-digit number repeated on the barrel, frame front, and left receiver? For that matter, what are the markings on the right receiver?

How long is the barrel, is this gun 9mm or .30 Luger?
