Default Erma 22 cal. inserts

Does anyone know the progression of Erma post war 22 cal. inserts? I have one in a wooden box with Erma Einstecksystem SE 08/2 , 22 Kal long rifle and a diamond ERMA logo on the lid. The toggle has serial # 000518 and Made in W. Germany. When were these made and how many were produced? Any idea on value? I bought this 10 years ago and am curious about their production. Thanks Bill

Hi,

These were made in the early 1980's. Some good info about them can be found in Goertz's 'Die Pistole 08'. I'll look it up when I have more time.

I've seen a couple on ebay go in the $400.00 range. An older version of this kit is as of this posting, going for $500.00 .

The 500USD kit is rather nice, as the guy is throwing in a 1936 9mm barrel/receiver in the mix.

stefanosg, it's mark II. It's great to practive my Luger shooting with some cheap ammo.. It shoots nice, but I would trade it with a .22 Luger insert any day.
