Thanks for the information on the holster. At first it did appear to be a repro, but after looking at e-bay, it does indeed appear to be a post war holster. I put a max bid in $48 and if it goes higher than that, I will bow out. I can always find a nice "post war" repro (ha, ha) for this one if I do buy it. In addition, I feel that possibly the East Germans may have used any WWII holsters that would have been available, so maybe a WWII may work for this pistol. I think I have a spare East German tool and all I would need is an East German magazine to have anice rig.


The pistol sure sounds good and I do not have one of the East German reworks. I think they really are a distinct variation since the work was done by a military arsenal and this one was supposed to be issued to the East German military. I will keep you posted on the outcome of the pistol. Thanks again for the help.
