Mauser Jubileum documents

Hello again guys,
Hereafter a few photos of another interesting Mauser document dated 1962 in really new condition with the original shipping envelope from the company.
In fact in Oberndorf was not only located the Fire Arms Division but also the Measuring-Tools one. In that period Mauser was a really big company able to cover several mechanicals fields.
What is interesting in the history of the Parabellum is that when Mauser realized that it was not possible to use the tools bought from the Berna waffenfabrik, it decided that all the parts of the guns were made by Mauser or by companies controlled by Mauser.

It was an impressive demonstration of competence. Building Ã¢??completely at homeÃ¢?Â a complicated pistol like the Luger following the strict DIN German modern standard with an eye to the final cost that MUST be not expensive was a real challenge.

Therefore all the tools, gauges and other stuff used for building the Parabellum were mainly made by Mauser itself.
