Default My Police Holster

I received this holster with my Luger. It is dated 1918 and has a maker's stamp and Munchen (I think) below it. It came with a tool and a magazine. the magazine base is numbered and the number matches the one on the holster. This is not the serial number of the pistol, which has it's own matching magazine. Can you tell me more about it, or who may have converted it?

Thanks in advance.

Nice police holster, larger pictures and full of the front and back would be great. You would almost never know who converted it, unless stamped.

Munchen is Munich to us Americans.
