I couldnt find any markings.

The horizontal straps for the stock (?) seem to be original but the vertical straps for belt-mount are clearly added afterwards.

Vasili -

Welcome to the Forum !

I believe this to be a Finnish Parabellum holster, and the vertical straps should be original. Some of these holsters are marked [SA] to indicate property of the Finnish Army.

Some versions of this holster could have been used for the Finnish Lahti, but this one does not appear to be long enough to accommodate the longer length of the Lahti.

Perhaps some of our Finnish members can comment further.

Thank you for your comment.

Still the leahter on the vertical straps is quite different both in colour and in quality, and the rivets are smaller and rougher than on the horizontal ones, what makes me think that the vertical ones were added afterwards at the Finnish warehouse. There is no SA markings on the holster.

Also I was interested in those horizontal straps for for the stock (?) - usually all the holster I've seen had only normal belt-mount straps.
Is this "horizontal-straps"-type considered to be a separate model ?
Is it rare ?

Vas, These M23 Finnish luger holsters with the horizonal straps in tact, are definately desirable and getting scarcer all the time. I quite often see these with the stock straps cut off and the belt loops sewn to the back. TH

These holsters are not common and are of considerable interest to collectors of Finnish handguns. The lack of a [SA] marking, in my opinion, makes the holster somewhat less valuable.
