Default Two Luger at Austin Gun Show

I bought a .30 1920 this morning for $600. At that price I could not pass it up. Howere there are two more lugers there. One is a S/42 1938 with a bad holster and Mauser Banner tool. This gun is matching is matching except for mag and toggle pin which has a very small 8 and a large 2 on the pin. The finish looks original, but there is no white paint in the word Gesichert. Could the white paint be completely gone in a 85 to 90 % gun?
And what about the number on the pin. He is firm on $1,400. The other gun is a byf 1942 with Black Grips, but the frame and upper are mismatched. It is a 90% gun. What is a this gun worth? What are the black grips worth?
