Charles Kenyon, in the latest Gun Report, has indicated that his upcoming article on the .45 caliber Luger will be his last and he will retire from the magazine. I really will miss these timely monthly "Luger at Random" articles. Does anyone know if the magazine has plans to have another recognized expert carry on the column?

Flattered though I am by Ed's joking remark, I will NEVER posses the knowledge or experience to write such a prestigeous column!

oh thats b^%%$#* Herb,
you know lots. Where do you think Kenyon started from, someone thinking he knew a bit, and he used the two books out and by looking at lugers to write an article.Ed |

Ed, I like your logic, but, alas, the rest of the Luger world will look aghast!

Would be nice if Kenyon used his last article to help collectors by writing about faked and boosted lugers and how to spot them.
