Default King Kong Arty

Looks like the captain from the new Kong movie fancies not only a Luger, but an arty to boot.

In Action

Somewhat of a side view, definately a longer barrel.

This Luger is definitely an artillery model. I caught this when I saw the film... but I understand that the prop people also had him use a Navy Luger at another place in the film... either they made a mistake, or didn't know the difference.

Steve,

I am curious how you captured the Arty frames from the recent King Kong movie...has it been released in DVD yet...or do you have another source...?

One of my new employees learned of my interest in Lugers and gave me an mpeg of the scene with the Luger in it. Unfortunatley, I suspect it's from a bootleg copy, which for the record I do not approve of. In fact I was not sure it would be appropriate to post the images.
