This Luger is definitely an artillery model. I caught this when I saw the film... but I understand that the prop people also had him use a Navy Luger at another place in the film... either they made a mistake, or didn't know the difference.

I am curious how you captured the Arty frames from the recent King Kong movie...has it been released in DVD yet...or do you have another source...? |

One of my new employees learned of my interest in Lugers and gave me an mpeg of the scene with the Luger in it. Unfortunatley, I suspect it's from a bootleg copy, which for the record I do not approve of. In fact I was not sure it would be appropriate to post the images.
