Hi Richard,
The second dot in the serial number comes with the early production. In fact this second dot was mainly used fot the prototypes and for the first production. The pistol with this second dot are scarce and the more valuable. Do you see any other difference with respect to the normal production? Please check also the internal numbering (see the related topic on the post WWII). Let me know. Ciao Mauro
