Post 1936 All-Matching Erfurt...?

Cannot remember if this 1936 all-matching Erfurt was previously discussed or not :

http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/Vie...?Item=11871227

Some folks take a few liberties, I guess, when they write-up their sales ads...???

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

Looks like a nice S/42 Mauser/Erfurt to me, those 36 models are hard to come by. Caveat Emptor, or something like that.

Amazing how it is all matching, I have my eye on an Erfurt <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> and I could have sworn they quit making them in like 1935

Disclaimer, for new comers, they quit making Erfurts in 1918 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

I think Howard is correct. It looks this one came off the production, maybe within the last year.
