Military magazine?
My father-in-law gave me a 1920 Commercial Luger with a correct magazine many years ago. It came with a Nazi-marked holster and in the holster was this chrome?/stainless? magazine with an aluminum bottom. I hope the pictures show enough detail.
It is a little dirty but I have made no attempt to clean it. There are the normal slide marks but no dents or deformities. The bottom of the mazine has the number "4549" above what looks like a script "L". Below the "L" is a tiny symbol (spread-eagle wings/) and the tiny number "63". I'm hoping someone here can help me identify and value this magazine. Thanks and a Merry Christmas from a new member! |

Type 1, Army. 1934-1936. With the E/63 and the L suffix , probably issued with a 1936 S/42

I agree with Frank above, that your suffix letter is an E vise an L with the narrow aspect number die set, making mag a G date, which puts it in the $100+ range. TH
