Military magazine?
5 Attachment(s)
My father-in-law gave me a 1920 Commercial Luger with a correct magazine many years ago. It came with a Nazi-marked holster and in the holster was this chrome?/stainless? magazine with an aluminum bottom. I hope the pictures show enough detail.
It is a little dirty but I have made no attempt to clean it. There are the normal slide marks but no dents or deformities. The bottom of the mazine has the number "4549" above what looks like a script "L". Below the "L" is a tiny symbol (spread-eagle wings/) and the tiny number "63". I'm hoping someone here can help me identify and value this magazine. Thanks and a Merry Christmas from a new member! |
Type 1, Army. 1934-1936. With the E/63 and the L suffix , probably issued with a 1936 S/42
FN |
nickle plated
there are chrome plated ones for the police, but they were short lived |
Thanks. Any estimate of its value?

$75-$135 depending on who is buying

Blackjack, your magazine Droop Eagle over 63, Serial Number 4549e is for a G-Date Luger made in 1935. Hope this helps!! :)

I agree with Frank above, that your suffix letter is an E vise an L with the narrow aspect number die set, making mag a G date, which puts it in the $100+ range. TH
