Three weeks ago I found myself in a tight financial spot. After agonizing over it for a while, I was forced to sell my beloved Luger to a gun store for some BADLY needed cash. Before anyone jumps on me, there was just no other way to get the cash that I needed.
Two days later, I had the money to buy the Luger back from the dealer (the amount that he gave me plus a little more). Sadly, someone had made a payment on the gun and it was now on layaway. It was one of the sadder moments of my life. I did not go back to that store until today. When he saw me, the proprietor came up to me and told me that the buyer had decided NOT to purchase the gun and that he was holding it for me! I was, needless to say, ecstatic. My Luger is now back in my possession, where it will stay. I shall not make the same mistake twice! If you're wondering, it is a mis-matched 1920 DWM commercial in .30. But it shoots great, looks great, and it is MINE. I love it. |
