Here she is in all of her glory... Now where is Kirk Douglas? He's got a whale of a tale to tell you, Lad!

To get back to the Peterson Luger, I am impressed by the proportion of barrel to barrel extension...It just looks right...

However, I can't quite figure out how the trigger connects to the hammer...There doesn't seem to be any Luger sear bar...

Doesn't use a Luger sear bar. The trigger/hammer linkage is all custom lockwork internal to the frame.

Here's a video discussing this pistol and its history:

Edit: The video is also in the auction listing; I didn't notice it originally. In any case, here it is for future reference.

I sorta liked that too...And I was browsing eBay and found what is probably the 'adjustable' front sight blade used on the Buxton .22 Luger...Or one close to it...

Yes, quite right- that is the front sight found on the Colt Woodsman of the early years. A fine, small adjustable sight for elevation adjustment.

I'm thinking(always dangerous) that this may actually be a .22 conversion/creation, and the hammer is simply there to operate the toggle to charge the pistol.
