I thought my memory was fading also. Winnsboro is SE of Monroe, which is where I grew up.
I can't say I have ever been to Mer Rouge. I had some kin in Oak Ridge, the Brown family. One of them is a state rep. now (or was, I don't keep up with La. politics anymore), Francis Brown. Ray |
