I have gone to this show a number of times over the last 25 years here in Las Vegas. This the third (3rd) venue change and I think this last one (Mandalay Bay) was a mistake. It use to be at the Riviera Hotel Casino and was easy to get to, parking was okay and there were a lot of vendors/dealers. Now at the Mandalay Bay Resort the parking is bad you have to walk a considerable distance to get in and the vendors were not happy at the last show (and there was not as many dealers). This will make show #2 at Mandalay Bay so we will see tomorrow how it "feels". I will say I have found some gems there over the years but you have to really look because there is a lot of high priced antique arms, flintlock/muzzleloaders, Colt SA, Winchesters, etc. But in there amongst the really high priced stuff, I have found several nice Lugers so I keep going back and looking. Have not scored a thing for a couple years now though. The winter show in Jan. or Feb. is the best show and is usually well dealer represented and attended.
