I think the value of the Audley holster is drastically over rated when applied to it's particular contribution to any one gun design. It was made for a wide variety of weapons. When one pulls it out of the context of modern holster development and associates it to Colt 1911 or Luger or Peacemaker lore, the earge to overpay suddenly appears. When related to the history of any particular sidearm it really is simply a vintage curiosity.

All that having been said, if you collect Lugers AND early Colt automatics, it's fun to add one of these to your collection
