Herb... NEVER store your pistols in the holster... that is asking for trouble.
Holsters are designed to transport not store pistols. They attract moisture, and the use of plastic wrap, since it doesn't breathe, is a good way to trap condensation against your prize pistol. Keep the holster full of bubble wrap, or a Luger replica to maintain it's shape and condition. Just my $0.02
