A word of caution on polishing the matte parts of the frame. Quite a while back somebody posted that they had polished the entire gun and regretted it because it was too reflective. I have no personal experience so cannot give any other advice on this.

I have seen pictures of some of the toggle parts mixed with vintage. If your magazine looks like a vintage, it should be interchangable. If the sides are flat, it is not.

I stopped experimenting when I put a stainless top assembly on a 1970's frame and then spent the better part of an hour getting it apart!
