I have owned four of these pistols. Still own all but the 1992 Mitchell.
Mitchell Arms American Eagle Eagle and date on chamber AIMCO INC HOUSTON TEXAS on right frame Serial number on left flat Standard ribbed magazine (all three as above) 1991 46XX 1992 unknown 1993 36XX Not that the serial numbers are not consecutive. Should the chamber date be considered part of the serial as in the case of a vintage Parabellum? Stoeger Eagle on chamber, no chamber date "Luger" logo on left flat STOEGER IND AMERICAN EAGLE on right frame Serial number above trigger on right S21XX SPM HOUSTON TEXAS on right Flat magazine, not interchangeable with standard magazine |
