Thor, get Irfanview. It is free and it can allow you to use it for all images and videos. It can even make changes to images. My favorite feature, is that it allows you to view images using the full screen!!!
Go to http://irfanview.tuwien.ac.at/ You will quickly stop using that other stuff to look at images and videos after using this...
