I like Nambu's and Arisaka's, just have one of each, but I think they got a bad rap after the war. It is interesting, growing up, I always read how Italian guns were crap, but now that many thousands have come into the country, you hear about how strong and good weapons they are.
Midway used to make 8mm Nambu, I still have some, and there are several guys that roll their own and sell it. I have the dies and such, but haven't reloaded in years. P38's don't have the value of Lugers either, and I think it comes down to the mystique of the guns themselves.
