My first Artillery , With new duds!!

I tried that in the desert outside of Las Vegas about 35 years ago. We saw quite a few of the hoppers until we got out of the car and loaded up with guns and ammo. Then nothing for about 2 hours as we walked around (not too quietly). We did ventilate some threatening beer cans to get the guns warmed up. Finally, we gave up, unloaded, and got back in the car. When the car started to move, the Jacks exploded from everywhere. I guess they have to be flushed out of the brush. Never had another chance to try it again.
