Hi,

Perhaps some logic that might work:

Original grips (DWM/Mauser):
-fine checkering + serial number

Original Vickers Grips:
-coarse checkering + serial number

GS Replacement Grips:
-coarse checkering + GS + serial number

Post-1946 Grips:
-All of the above, including unmarked grips.
Several possibilities: Indonesia could have
re-used GS stock that was left behind, explaining unnumbered grips. They might have produced replacement grips when supplies ran low, as they did with holsters. I would expect these grip variations on 'indonesia' marked dutch lugers (five-pointed star).
