Yes Ron, you are right the "ears" I refer to, are the dished toggle Knobs.

The gun belong to the grandfather of a friend of mine, here in Mexico, so it is impossible for me to trace the story of this gun. The gun has some scratches on the top near the portion were the barrel matches the rest on te gun, there is no blue on the backstrap neither in the backstrap safety.

�¿Any more help, about the price, the story of this gun?
