Hello everyone,
Took my P.08 to the gun range today and fired 50rds through her. I used Geko 124 grain ammo. I also installed some aftermarket grips so that I would not damage my originals. The results were three "failure to feeds" (out of the 50 rds fired). Stovepipe type misfeeds with the rounds that were trying to be chambered from the magazine. The only time they failed to feed was when I used one hand to fire it. All other times (including rapid firing the weapon) were successful. The times that no misfeeds occured was when I used the normal second hand under the magazine posture. Another weird thing I noticed was the magazines had a deep scaring where the magazine latch rubs into the magazine body, when the mag is inserted into the weapon. I don't know if the mags were like that before, I just noticed them when I was finished firing. Sound like a problem??? I found this weapon to be very accurate, but didn't like the jamming up part. |
