Ruger 10/22 Rifle feedback and thoughts?

I got mine back in the middle 70's still have it. Put thousands of rounds thru it. I pick off clays at 100 yards with iron sites. Get extra mags if you go with it. Easy to clean barrel comes off no problem

Mine is picky about federal ammo anything else is fine.

Wood stock I'm assuming? Read in a review elsewhere that someone stripped the stock and factory finished and refinished to a very nice effect with some TLC. Ever do any work on your stock if wooden?
