I believe the Navy markings were added to the holsters after they showed up at the navy depot.
Thus most any date current or previous would have found its way to a 1937 dated luger; and could have been changed again anytime after that! I suppose there could be 1000 1937 navy marked holsters, being procured in '37 and used till they ran out! JMHO.

Wow, those are nice. I'll post pictures of my 1937 holster when it gets here next week. I have been looking a long time for that year to go with my 37 Navy.
