I saw that too! Bullet bounce back would have kept them hopping plus what happens when the wall is shot away?

I suspect some officer decided that using the wall for a target was not a good idea long before the wall was breached. Or perhaps that is bullet proof paint.

Hi to all, the recent production GTFS-.275" is on the way to Luger doc as we write this! These front sight options are of very high quality (as good as original) ... and are exclusive thru Tom,
Next sight option to be produced will be the tallest, GTLS-.300" and then maybe a final run of .225" (standard) All in all, not many, but should be enough to tame down a few high shoot'in outfits! Best to all, til...lat'r....GT |

Gerry, can you tell us do-it-yourselfers what angle the sight dovetail should be cut at???

Hi Rich, hopefully, Olle can jump in here as he cuts most of my dovetails, Or Don, either does a great job...
The sight blades I just had manufactured were take directly fro the original print and then reconfigured to compensate for the additional dimension height needed? So, I sent 3 sample original barrels with perfect or un-used front sight blocks / dovetails.. Also sent the updated print from the Luger 1913 blueprint drawings And three original uninstalled standard 4" barrel sight blades... They did all the retro engineering and modifications, (tooling fee, not cheap!) They are perfect in fit and form... not going to last long... Best to you Rich, til...lat'r.....GT....

![]() I just wondered what you had settled on. ![]() It would be nice to find a dovetail cutter that would allow for one cut and done.

Actually, they did have me sign off on the degree tolerance as special cutters would have to be ordered to do the exact spec? It was a degree on way or the other, but still within the tolerances on the print.... I'll let you know if I come across it, but it was a total of 1 degree different then the print... they fit great, so whatever they did, they did it right...
... best to you, til....lat'r.....GT
