Its a nice and rare gun. But I think 2500 would be top dollar for this one.

I still have the prototypes of the target rear sight here.
Original plan was a sight added to a reworked rear toggle part.

That didn't work, so they constructed a special rear toggle part for the target pistol. It was constructed in 1974 when a radical change in German gun laws was expected. By turning the Parabellum into a target pistol Mauser hoped to retain a market. The gun law changes were far less constrictive than thougt so the target version disappeared again.
