Yes, a definite improvement!
 The luger should shoot high at close range; it is sighted for military use ranges of nearer 100 yards, IIRC. Someone can add the original targeted distance. Members who target shoot and want to lower the POI, use a higher front sight. Member GT is having some made in various heights - just for this purpose.
