I don't think this is a problem anymore. Last time someone from Russia bought something I was selling, ebay had me mail the item to them and then ebay themselves mailed the package to the person in russia

they do this now to minimize the amount of fraud that comes from people receiving their package but claiming they didn't to get a refund.
