And I don't blame him one bit!
Never mind he won't sell to his own country, must be illegal. ;) |
I won't ship anything outside the United States when dealing with eBay.
I've been burned too many times. |
Looks like it could be a list for a future "travel ban"...
I'll bet that there is a good deal of experience on the part of that seller behind that list... |
Good thing the seller is not the "president", judges would be all over him for discrimination!
|
Sold a few items internationally. There are not many international buyers. A few books to Germany and Japan, a few Japanese shin-gunto swords to Hong Kong, a few C96 stocks to France and Russia, a few leather harness to England, a few wristwatches to China,,,, that's about it.
If above seller are selling similar stuffs,,, I bet there are not many international buyers either. These items are "luxury" items, no practical use. Not hot is understandable. |
The ONLY thing that should ever be sent to any of those far-off places is TROOPS.
|
Kinda like the fine print in the Allstate commercials: "Not available in all states". I'm easily entertained, so it makes me chuckle every time.
|
Selling?! I am still trying to figure out BUYING collectible items. I still have much to learn.
|
I gave up on ebay long ago and found my stress level dropped significantly because of it.

Hey! That's the same list of countries I won't travel to!
|
Although I understood that many people got burned in international transactions, the generalization bothers me, and I am not soft skinned. As an overseas buyer, this restrictions s**ks. Really.
I always paid ASAP for all my purchases and I NEVER issued a claim against a seller even when I had an item MIA - yes it happened a couple of times. If you take risks, you have to live with them. If I use the same rational, I would never buy anything related with Luger collecting here (as I have been doing) as the most outrageous fakes came out from Waffenfabrik Amerika. Just my two cents. Cordially, Douglas. |
Douglas..yes..I have no problems dealing with KNOWN good sellers/buyers overseas. Guys like you are easy to deal with! Thanks...

they do this now to minimize the amount of fraud that comes from people receiving their package but claiming they didn't to get a refund. |
