I just discovered that the sear bar on a Mauser parabellum is NOT compatible with the safety bar on a P.08. The upper will fit the gun, you just won't be able to engage the safety.

Correct, but you can change the sear bar to the correct style if you
wish.

And there are relieved and non relieved sear bars of each style.

so a grip safety model would have a spring that would return the gun to safe when it was not held , and where does that spring reside on the gun?


I can't seem to get an exploded view of those models to come up when I google them , sorry for my ignorance once you get something in your mind its hard to get it out
