Didn't notice that, but now when you say it... Well, I guess I did pretty good if it ain't worse than that.

Maybe it's not missing, could be just a broken tip, my 41 BYF is like that for ages, doesn't affect anything.

Yep, that's what it is. I checked it today and you can see it in the hole in front of the trigger. The detent feels good, so it's obviously just the tip that's missing.

And maybe it isn't even broken, but someone along the line just nipped the tip saving himself some aggravation when replacing/reassembling the darn thing. Quien sabe?
