I've been driving by the Pendleton Town Hall for 30+ years on the way to "the big city" and see this 'gun' in front...It looks about 4-5 feet tall, might make a nice lawn ornament...

Today I stopped, but only had crappy cell phone to take pics...

It is huge! About eight feet tall, two tractor-style seats, two sets of sights (each side), lotsa handwheels, levers, and almost every separate piece has a metal tag riveted on...

If I'm reading the NAVORDSYSCOM tags right, it's a three inch gun. Too many tags to take pics of, and too soggy to walk all around.

I'll be picking up my TV from the repair shop down the road in a week or so and I'll take better pics.

In the meanwhile, can any of you old salts say what it is and what it would have been mounted on??? WWI or WWII???

I discarded my idea of a lawn ornament...
