The 9279e marked magazine is original and about as perfect as can be.
The other one is, as mentioned, the candidate for a bakelite / plastic base replacement. You could, of course, just leave it as is. They make excellent magazines for shooter Lugers. Your Luger is in superb condition. Congratulations!

Thank you for your opinions and I think for now I will let the rework magazine how it is.
@ mrerick I'm glad you like it, I'm happy with my new Luger. Maybe the lighting/flash make the condition look better in the last photos. I took some more photos and there you can see some little flaws, nevertheless I really like the look. I will write a new post about my Luger in "All P-08 Military Lugers", I'm curious what you think about the condition and maybe you or another user has some informations for me. Like I said, I'm a beginner with the P08 and I have to learn a lot. Best regards, Stephan |
