Hi all,
With regard to the RIA auction, I tracked 11 pre-WWI - 1918 Lugers in the catalog. Of the 11 here are the hammer prices with respect to the RIA estimate: under: 4 within: 4 over: 1 and 2 with "Lot Sold" but no "Price Realized". ![]() I called RIA about phenomenon where a lot sells but there is no realized price. I was told lots listed as "Lot Sold" with no "Price Realized" meant there was a problem with the winner, the consignor, or the item. Since one of these 2 lots was a lot I was outbid on, I am interested in finding out if the item is available to purchase. RIA took my name etc and said they would notify the seller. Anyone have any thoughts about this? Richard
