Hi Pete,
DRP=Deutsches Reich Patent..a trademark protection issued under the late Kaiser.

FWIW, I acquired a lot of legal papers some time ago including among other things a US patent office copy and sealed issue of the 1902 Georg Luger patent submission and, interestingly enoua lawyer's transcription of a court proceeding against Winchester for using a Browning design, which allegedly infringed on a Luger patent.

Fascinating reading but not the things I like so I sold it, along with several Georg Luger original items. Gotta keep feeding the Navy addiction!
