There is information on proper grip removal here on the site. Do not attempt to remove the left grip prior to reading these tips!
The area around the safety tends to break off if the grip is leveraged out. To check i fthey are matching to the gun, the best method is to remove the right grip only and look through the frame to see if the left grip has matching numbers. |

Did first step of take down. Only marking on grips I can see is left side has a "V".
Barell has some visabel fouling in it But not full of rust. Pistol is filthy. Will do full take down and clean hopefully this week. Mag has FXO and 37 under bird. Could not find any markings on the take down tool. Thanks for any input. Marvin |
